“There will be no arms deliveries. Ukraine is already costing us a pretty penny” – German Chancellor
Germany is not going to supply weapons to Ukraine, or to any other country at the stage of armed conflict.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated this at the Munich Security Conference, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Germany has a lot of rules about arms exports, they are very strict. If we want to comply with them, then it was never possible for Germany to provide weapons to Ukraine. This applies not only to Ukraine, but also to all countries that are in a state of conflict.
We are the countries that have been the largest financial donors for Ukraine for many decades, and we are going to continue to do so. I think everyone sees this.
They talk about this both behind closed doors and in ajar, we have always said that we will support Ukraine financially, and we also fulfill all our responsibilities to NATO,” Scholz assured.
