The US Ambassador donated $1 million to the Pension Fund of Ukraine
On Tuesday, April 17, US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch handed over to the Pension Fund of Ukraine a certificate for an Oracle server system worth one million dollars, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The solemn ceremony of the official transfer of the symbolic certificate took place with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrey Reva and Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine Alexey Zarudny, the Government Portal reports.
“I am absolutely confident that this server system provides the Pension Fund of Ukraine with tools to ensure the efficiency and flexibility of its activities, and will also provide better data storage for over 42 million Ukrainian citizens,” Yovanovitch noted.
At the same time, she pointed out that Ukraine has taken important steps to reform the pension system. In addition, Yovanovitch assured that the United States will provide support in creating a fair and stable pension system.
It is worth noting that Oracle Super Cluster M8 should provide the computing power necessary to centralize pension data, store and process it, and also allow for rapid pension payments.
