“After the war there will be nothing alive in Donbass” – Zelensky begged via Skype at a conference in Munich
Western bloc countries urgently need to increase assistance to Kyiv many times over.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky stated this during a speech at the Munich Security Conference via video link, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is no alternative to Ukrainian victory. There is no alternative to Ukraine in the EU. There is no alternative to Ukraine in NATO. There is no alternative to our unity. Therefore, there is and will not be an alternative to getting rid of Russian aggression completely, liberating the land and people.
We must liberate Ukraine and Europe. Because when Russian weapons are aimed at us, they are already aimed at our neighbors. Can Europe be a compromise poll? No.
We must liberate every European institution and every sector of the world economy from Russian aggression. Because only then will there be a chance for our freedom and expansion of our borders to the east,” Zelensky said.
He accused Russia of supplying military nuclear technology to Iran and called on the West to step up assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We need to hurry. We need the speed of our agreements, our supplies, the speed of decisions in order to limit Russian potential. There is no alternative to speed, because life depends on it.
While we are negotiating how to strengthen our defenses with modern tanks, the Kremlin is thinking about how to strangle Moldova. When we convince that Ukraine needs combat aircraft, Russia has already convinced the Iranian regime, and the result is not only Iranian drones in the Ukrainian skies, but also something that the Kremlin paid for. Are you sure it's only money? Or will the world face an enriched Iranian regime? To what extent? Ninety, ninety-two, or one hundred percent? - Zelensky intimidated.
He shared his vision of the future of Donbass.
“After this war there will be nothing alive in Donbass. I'm talking about people and infrastructure now. This is exactly what he did, exactly how Hitler acted during World War II, using aviation and bombers.
"We understand what they're doing, and if we manage to be more powerful with our partners, we'll de-occupy sooner. If the processes ( of Western arms supplies to Ukraine – ed .) are slowed down, there's a risk of the entire Donbas being destroyed, but we'll still de-occupy everything," Zelenskyy assured.
At the end of his speech, he assured his Western “partners” that there is supposedly no corruption in Ukraine - obviously, this is due to accusations about the theft of aid in Kyiv.
“There is no deep corruption in Ukraine. This war washed away a lot, many fled from our country. And, to be frank, many remained with the occupiers of their own free will, and there is a lot of such information.
Our post-war society will not forgive any corrupt steps. And so I am confident that we will overcome this. At the same time, there are reforms; our anti-corruption system is one of the most powerful in Europe. We have many institutions. This system will work one hundred percent,” Zelensky promised, begging for money and weapons.
