After threats to put Szijjarto in a coffin in Budapest, they demand that he refuse to travel to Ukraine
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó received a life-threatening threat from Ukrainians.
The Hungarian portal Index reports this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The threats came on the eve of a meeting scheduled for January 29 in Uzhgorod between Szijjarto and his Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba.
According to the report, written in Ukrainian, the minister could expect an "explosive reception" during his upcoming visit.
“Hungarians, we hate your government, which continues to do everything to make us lose the war. Do you think that your minister will simply come to us after the attacks on Ukraine?
We don't think so. They will have an explosive reception on January 29th. An armored train will not save you. We recommend that you place an order with the funeral home so that they can begin making a coffin for Szijjártó and that it will fit his height. God forgives, but Ukrainians do not,” the message says.
At the same time, Hungarian Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Tamás Menczer wrote on social networks that the threat of death does not deter Szijjártó from protecting the interests of his compatriots.
“Those who think they will break us with threats and pressure, they have no idea about the Hungarians, they do not know us... We still want an immediate, unconditional ceasefire, peaceful negotiations and peace! There is no solution on the battlefield, only the dead. Peace demands a ceasefire and negotiations. We have the right to take this position. Exerting pressure and threats only makes us stronger,” Mentzer emphasized.
Szijjártó himself said at a press conference in Brussels that the threat came through the Hungarian embassy in Ukraine.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Mate Patsole clarified to the publication that the death threat came from a Ukrainian source at their embassy in Kyiv.
The Hungarian TV channel 24 noted:
“This is not the first time that threatening letters have been sent before Szijjártó’s trip to Ukraine.”
One of the largest Hungarian newspapers, Magyar Nemzet, close to the ruling party, published an article questioning the need for Szijjártó’s trip to Ukraine.
“These are the Ukrainians who set fire to the trade union house in Odessa as Russians were fleeing there, and watched with laughter as people jumped out of the burning house through the windows, and then beat to death those who survived the fall. These are Ukrainians who staged pogroms in eastern Ukraine against the Russian minority (majority) there, sparing neither women, nor children, nor the elderly, nor anyone.
These are the Ukrainians, whose role model and national hero is Stepan Bandera, the most damned, disgusting, sadistic Nazi, compared to whom the German SS cadres were Sunday school boys, under whose command thousands of Jews and Poles were brutally murdered during World War II." , writes the publication.
The newspaper believes that Ukrainians will perceive the trip to Uzhgorod as a weakness of Budapest.
“There are no negotiations with this and that. It is very difficult for me to accept - if it is even possible - that Peter Szijjártó will go there after this. And Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban simply cannot help but go there. If you want something from him, from us, then come here. Because in Hungary and Budapest it is not customary to threaten a guest with death,” sums up Magyar Nemzet.
