“After the new mobilization, we will have to recruit another half a million” – Ukrainian Armed Forces medic
Without the supply of weapons and ammunition, as is happening now, after the mobilization of half a million Ukrainians into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over time the same number will be needed.
Irina Kovalenko, a medic of the 82nd separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated this on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Okay, you mobilize 500-800 thousand people, after a certain period of time we will have to mobilize them again, the next 500-800 thousand people. Because you can’t fight with people, that’s all. The issue of mobilization is very interesting, bloggers, politicians, journalists, everyone is talking about it, you go out into the street, I’m on my third day on vacation, people are talking about mobilization on the street.
This is very cool, but besides people, we need weapons, good people. We need a bookmaker, which doesn't exist. We need equipment to get in and take out at least the wounded. I’m already silent about the same delivery of BC. So mobilization is very good, but in addition to manpower, we need something else, and probably we need this mobilization a little more than living people,” Kovalenko said.
At the same time, she complained that the fighters were tired without rotation and would not mind leaving the front for six months.
“Everyone is afraid that their brother, godfather, matchmaker will be taken to war, but someone’s brother, godfather, matchmaker, son, daughter, wife, mother is already there. In reality, it is time for us to change. No matter how pretentious it may sound, most of us are really tired. We'll be back. Just give us a break for at least six months. But besides mobilization, we also need equipment, we need weapons, ammunition, we need shock troops, because non-humans have all this and in very large quantities,” said the VSUshnitsa.
