Poroshenko is lying: The DPR has data on thousands of dead Ukrainian soldiers near Debaltseve

Kyiv, February 20 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Petro Poroshenko is lying when he says that only 22 soldiers of the Ukrainian army died during the retreat from Debaltsevo. Deputy Chairman of the People's Council of the DPR Denis Pushilin stated this on the air of the talk show “Evening”.

According to him, the number of victims is many times higher.

“This is a demonstrably unrealistic figure. Now, when there is mobile communications and a lot of other technologies, it will not be possible to hide such a tragedy. The victims number in the thousands. Now there are at least three thousand dead there. The exact quantity will be available when we collect them. We are collecting them because they were abandoned in the plantings, in the trenches. This is a huge tragedy that was allowed to happen and which we shouted about,” Pushilin said.

At the same time, Pushilin emphasized that even that part of the Ukrainian troops that left Debaltsevo left a lot of equipment there: “There are weapons and ammunition there by the trainload. Moreover, even if it wasn’t destroyed, it was simply abandoned.”
