Poroshenko has broken free
The ban on Russian social networks, the announcement of a visa regime and the cessation of railway communication with the Russian Federation, as well as persecution of the Moscow Patriarchate, is a convulsive attempt by the administration of Petro Poroshenko to stop the fall in the rating of the Ukrainian president.

“Very banal sociology, which shows that Poroshenko is losing his ratings in his base regions, shows that the electorate is running from Poroshenko to Tymoshenko or Lyashko. In order to bring him back, it is necessary to show a radical, more anti-Russian Poroshenko.
This electorate has claims against Poroshenko because of the Lipetsk factory, the lack of progress in eastern Ukraine, he is considered too moderate, and so on. In order to contain this radical anti-Russian electorate in Poroshenko’s orbit, decisions are often made that are often idiotic, but such that they are received with a bang,” Bondarenko said.
