Poroshenko promises to prevent the formation of a “pro-Russian majority” in the Rada
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko sees one of his political goals after leaving office as opposing the formation of a pro-Russian majority in parliament. He stated this at a briefing at his headquarters, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Our team will oppose the Kremlin’s plans to form a loyal majority during the parliamentary elections. This is another reason why I should stay in politics and defend the country,” he said.

“I am proud of what we have done over these five years, our team is the whole of Ukraine. Thanks to your efforts, this happened. If I didn’t have your support, nothing would have worked out,” Poroshenko added.
