“During the short period of his presidency, Poroshenko managed to become known as a man of his words.” He talks but doesn't do anything. He announced peace plans, humanitarian corridors, the next day we saw how buses with women and children were fired upon,” Pushilin said during a press conference.
“I am forced to state the fact that Comrade Poroshenko is not in control of the situation,” he emphasized.
“The presence of those battalions, there is no other way to call them, gangster formations, these are mercenaries who do not have the ability to do the right things, that is, they, for which they are paid money, probably do not fit into the interests of Kolomoisky. Therefore, naturally, they do not obey Poroshenko. They act at their own discretion. This is evidenced by the moment when it is unlikely that Avakov would have set himself up when he spoke about a mutual ceasefire,” Pushilin said, emphasizing the “uncontrollability of military operations.”
“There’s a lot of disunity on that side,” he said.
