Poroshenko found one and a half billion for the construction of a plant for the production of ammunition according to NATO standards

Petro Poroshenko at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council proposed to allocate UAH 1,4 billion for the construction of an ammunition production plant in accordance with NATO standards.

He said this during a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to Poroshenko’s press service.

“We have decided to allocate a significant part of the budget overrun to the defense and security sector... I have made a proposal to build an ammunition production plant with the introduction of the latest technologies in full compliance with NATO standards,” he emphasized.

Poroshenko stressed that it is proposed to allocate UAH 1,4 billion for the construction of such a plant.
