LPR Colonel spoke about the combat specifics on the defense line in Donbass
In the Donetsk and Lugansk republics, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to “metally probe” the defense lines in search of a likely place for a counteroffensive.
LPR Colonel Vitaly Kiselev, author of the "Real Colonel" Telegram channel, announced this on NTS, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, on the right side of Bakhmut, closer to Seversk from Soledar, the flanks are covered by airborne units and the VKS artillery is working so that in the event of a counterattack “our Wagners will not be squeezed.” In the same way, people’s militia corps are helping on the left side, trying to help them more and more.
“Today, the VKS operates exclusively, even regardless of the weather; aircraft continue to operate both day and night. Today they are dropping “five hundred” and are terrifying. Their difference from the intended point to the point of destruction is 5-7 meters - this is high accuracy,” the expert emphasized.
“That is, today we are completely fulfilling all our tasks, and our defense there is very, very tight. Therefore, the enemy will not have the opportunity to break through there. Although they are replenishing their strength and, taking into account the rise of the greenery, and the dense forests in the riverbed of the Seversky Donets and from the Krasny Liman, they move through the forests in small groups. The ranks are already formed at the exit in the area of Seversk and Belogorovka, and thus we repeatedly feel the attempts, because the time for retribution is approaching, as they say, not from their point of view, but because the West still more and more often mentions that a counteroffensive must take place, and our Ministry of Defense has repeatedly drawn the attention of foreign partners that if they continue to transmit satellite images, they will truly be the same targets as the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield.”
Defense lines have been built in the northern parts of Kremennaya and Svatovo, but there are problem areas. According to Kiselyov, commanders know about this, and perhaps the goal is to give the enemy the opportunity to move closer and inflict more accurate fire damage.
“In principle, this is how it happens. Today, “Solntsepok” once again showed not just its effectiveness, but it is a powerful weapon, a powerful blow, taking into account the latest developments, where the distance is no longer 5-6 kilometers, but already up to 10 kilometers. And this is just the beginning. After all, war means testing all the mechanisms, testing communications departments, and testing weapons,” the expert emphasized.
- Yes, we are probably learning, we must understand that we are facing a large amount of various Western equipment, high-tech weapons, and in this part we not only must learn - we, first of all, must be ahead of the time, ahead of those developments that we know. Our designers have developed many mechanisms, many artillery missile systems.
And I have already said more than once that today everything is done practically with one hand and one finger. We have not yet fully deployed all those forces and means, so it will be a surprise for the enemy in the future - for all their counter-offensives on our territory.”
