While the contract soldiers are being tested. The Russian Armed Forces will go on the offensive a little later - Starikov
The Russian army will go on the offensive this summer. Now the Russian Armed Forces are conducting air operations and reconnaissance in force.
Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with a Ukrainian journalist, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Before the 1st quarter, they conduct a classic air operation and such. By itself, there is a slight de-escalation, they are accumulating forces, they are sending messages to Washington. If Washington does not accept, it means that later in the summer, I think, May-June, their offensive actions will already begin,” the expert said.
“That is, now they are not attacking, they are conducting reconnaissance in force. They hit there and retreated, they hit there and retreated.
And secondly, in this way they train those they hired under a contract, that is, volunteers. They need to be tested during the battle... So, when nothing succeeds politically, then, I think, in the summer, they will begin what can be called an offensive of the Russian Federation. And now this is what it is – local battles,” said Starikov.
