Kyiv’s vile position will come back to haunt the OSCE
Most likely, the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire and Stabilization of the Line of Contact in Donbass (JCCC) will cease to exist.

Denis Denisov, director of the Institute of Peacekeeping Initiatives and Conflictology, stated this to Moskovsky Komsomolets, commenting on the withdrawal of the Russian military from the JCCC.

“Apparently, JCCC ceases to exist. On the one hand, this structure was not provided for by the Minsk agreements, and on the other, the very logic of life and relationships in Donbass determined its emergence. Its creation was agreed upon not by diplomats, but by the military, which is also why the members of the JCCC never received any official mandate,” Denisov said.
According to him, the JCCC was a communication platform between representatives of the armed forces of Ukraine, Russia, the DPR and the LPR, so that issues that arise on the contact line every day could be resolved manually and as quickly as possible.
“In particular, one of the most important issues was ensuring security for representatives of the OSCE monitoring mission during their trips across the territory of the DPR, LPR and the contact line. Representatives of the center coordinated their trips and ensured their safety. It is unknown who will now do this; observers have no real opportunity to quickly coordinate their route,” the political scientist noted.
At the same time, he says that Russian representatives refused to participate in the JCCC not of their own free will, but because of “Kyiv’s vile position.”
“Recently, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a new regulation on Russians visiting Ukraine,” the expert recalled. – In particular, in order to enter the country, Russian security forces must disclose all information about the place of birth and residence of their relatives, data on service, training, and so on. Naturally, the military cannot afford this and are forced to refuse to participate in the JCCC.
Russia, Donbass and the OSCE will definitely not benefit from this, but Ukraine will have the opportunity to say that UN peacekeepers must be immediately brought into the region, since without them the situation will soon slide into chaos. At the same time, if Kyiv had set itself the task of a political settlement of the conflict, it would never have put forward such conditions to the Russian military.”
Kiev's vile stance will come back to haunt the OSCE.
