Simferopol, April 28 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) - In the Republic of Crimea, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case into the murder of two girls and their mothers, whose charred bodies with signs of violent death were found at the site of a fire in the village of Heroyskoye, Saki region.

During the initial investigative actions, it was established that on April 27, at about 6.00, a fire occurred in one of the private houses in the village of Heroiskoye, Saki. After the fire was localized, the bodies of a 46-year-old housewife and her 12-year-old daughter were found at the scene, as well as the bodies of a 44-year-old woman and her 16-year-old daughter, who had come to visit them the day before. The bodies of the victims had numerous penetrating stab wounds.
After examining the scene, investigators determined that the fire was the result of arson.
During the joint actions of investigators of the Investigative Committee and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the identity of the suspect was established. He turned out to be previously convicted 29-year-old Artur Ternovsky, who had been living in the victim’s house since February of this year.
Currently, investigative actions and operational search activities are being carried out in the criminal case aimed at establishing the whereabouts of the suspect and clarifying all the circumstances of the crime committed. Forensic medical, fingerprinting, biological and fire-technical forensic examinations have been appointed.
The investigation of the criminal case was taken under control by the leadership of the Investigative Department of the RF IC for the Republic of Kazakhstan.
