Solovyov’s letter about the large losses of Marines in the Donbass was declared an enemy “stuffing”
The recent widespread news of a letter from marines to Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako , which spoke of the 155th Brigade's heavy losses during the offensive on Pavlovka (DPR), is a forgery planted by enemy propaganda.
This was explained to viewers on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“It is obvious that an information operation took place. Obviously, the very letter that everyone began to discuss was not written by the military. There is not a single sign that this was written by a military man,” said military observer Vladislav Shurygin.
“And it appears in full form from a citizen of Ukraine located in Spain, Anatoly Shariy. How shoud I understand this? With all due respect to Anatoly, he is a foreigner,” TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov was surprised.
“The complete stuffing really started from there. There are some nuances that are not clear and obvious to every military person, but not a single soldier, not a single officer in their right mind will discuss how many heroes they promised to which of the generals, because everyone understands that they look like a fool. Because you are not sitting next to the general and in the Russian army no one has ever promised anyone orders for anything.
They began to react very strangely to this stuffing. But both the governor and the Moscow Region responded completely adequately. In the morning they showed the Marines guys, the Marines said their word, the situation was completely resolved and extinguished. They completely disavowed it because they said that they didn’t write it,” the expert replied.
Shurygin believes that control over messages in the combat zone is needed.
“The second point is the reaction of our Telegram channels. We need a body that will ensure that, for example, such a shkolota as Gray Zone, in order to prove that the letter is correct, does not start posting in our space videos of Ukrainians who are killing our own. I don’t know whether the TsIPSO guys are cool or not, but people have no concept of morality, honor and rules of behavior,” Shurygin said.
It should be noted that the founder of the Vostok battalion of the DPR, Alexander Khodakovsky, was the first to report serious losses during the assault on Pavlovka. He did not subsequently refute or question these “letters from the Marines.”
