Pynzenik: Willingness to make sacrifices will bring deputies closer to people
Kyiv, August 01 (Navigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – The problem of corruption is not only economic, but also moral. A deputy must show a willingness to sacrifice, says Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Pinzenyk.

“I believe that the problem of corruption is not so much economic as moral. If someone thinks that if someone is paid more, then he will not take bribes. This is not true. The problem is on a completely different plane. But when the country is going through difficult times, it is very important to show motivation, take a step and show that deputies start with themselves,” Pynzenyk said on Hromadske TV.
The deputy believes that during the ATO, the authorities should take on the hardships of wartime.
“I don’t care that all additional payments have been removed from deputies - this is correct. This is not a monetary problem - you can’t save much here, because 400 deputies is not that much. But the deputy must show a willingness to make sacrifices in order to get closer to people,” Pynzenyk said.
As Navigator reported, yesterday the Verkhovna Rada introduced a military tax of 1,5% from the income of Ukrainians.
