Father Kliment gives Poroshenko a nightmare - he was frozen out by the Crimean schismatics

The head of the so-called "Crimean diocese" of the OCU, Clement, threatens to starve himself to death near the Ukrainian Presidential Administration building unless the "diocese" building in Simferopol is transferred to his name. He made this statement on the Ukrainian Hromadske TV, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, dissenters on the peninsula have “bird rights” and occupy the building of the former higher military-political school illegally.

“I have been asking for four years that a parliamentary resolution be adopted that the premises of the 119th military camp at 17a Sevastopolskaya Street, which until 1995 was the property of Ukraine and in 96 was transferred to the balance of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, so that this room, which now houses the “Cathedral” and the administration of the diocese, was taken over by the administration of the diocese. So that I would be the owner of this property,” Clement complains.

He also demands a meeting with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and, in case of refusal, threatens to bring comrades-in-arms from Crimea and organize a collective hunger strike: “I want to ask one question - is the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, needed on the territory of Crimea? Do we need Ukrainian citizens who remained in Crimea? And, if necessary, then what needs to be done and how to act in order to save it all. These are the questions I want to ask the president. And for this I want a meeting to take place.

I spoke with the Presidential Administration and some officials. And I realized that they had no desire for me to meet with the President of Ukraine. Believers of the Crimean diocese are ready to come from Crimea and support me in my hunger strike near the Presidential Administration. I will go to the end. I will not give this room to anyone. I don't know what will happen next."

Earlier, Ukrainian nationalists threatened to organize pogroms against churches of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church in response to the eviction of schismatics in Crimea.
