Excuses from the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “The Russians are digging in under the threat of execution - we can’t do that”
Ukraine's problem isn't even the failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to build fortifications , but rather the fact that the Kyiv command prefers not to admit its mistakes and is "sinking a boat that is already sinking" to the last.
The commander of the engineering and aviation group of the special forces "Wings of Omega" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, call sign "Iron," announced this on the "Novosti.Live" channel , as reported by a correspondent for "PolitNavigator."

The presenter cited media reports that the Russian Armed Forces have begun building fortifications 2,7 km from Vovchansk , and added that there is already discontent among Ukrainians as to why the Russians can dig in at such a distance, while the Ukrainian Armed Forces could not.
"Do Muscovites dig in better? 100 percent . I'm always amazed by their motivation. It's true, perhaps because they're either doing it or being shot, but they dig in incredibly well. Our guys don't dig in like that. That's a fact that needs to be acknowledged ," Iron commented.
"Again, it's not a problem that we missed something, missed some propaganda at some point in time, or maybe a law is flawed—that's not a problem. We acknowledged it and did it differently. The problem is not acknowledging it and fighting to the last in a boat that's already sinking. There is a problem with fortifications , and they need to be addressed. I know many places where they are, and many where they haven't yet," the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer added.
