The Polish elite, blinded by Russophobia, chose the path of severing diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation
If it were not for the pathological Russophobia of the Polish political elites, there would be no obstacles to normal relations between Poland and Russia.
The Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Warsaw, Sergei Andreev, stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“The Polish elite is imbued with Russophobia through and through. Access to Polish political, economic, journalistic, academic is practically closed without a certificate of Russophobia. Despite the fact that there seem to be no insurmountable obstacles to normal relations, that same political will is completely absent. Therefore, unfortunately, I don’t see any chances for improvement, minimal normalization of relations in the foreseeable future,” Andreev said.
The diplomat noted that it was the Polish authorities who chose the path that leads to a severance of diplomatic relations with Russia.
“It is possible, but we always say that it is not our choice. If you look at the history of the development of our relations with the Polish side, we almost never do anything to worsen or complicate our relations, we are the first to react. We do not seek to worsen or aggravate relations with Poland or with anyone else, provided, of course, that our toes are not stepped on and our legitimate interests are respected,” the ambassador emphasized
