Former presidential candidate of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovskaya has been put on the interstate wanted list in Russia.
Tikhanovskaya's name has appeared in the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs database, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
A TASS source in law enforcement agencies explained that she was put on the wanted list in Belarus, but it will also be carried out in Russia, since we are talking about an interstate search.
In Belarus she is accused under Article 361 “Calls for actions aimed at causing harm to national security.”
“Tikhanouskaya has been put on the wanted list, and I still feel sorry for her. The woman was frying cutlets and wants to fry them, but suddenly she became a politician. Well, you wouldn’t wish this on your enemy,” TV journalist Konstantin Pridybaylo wrote in his Telegram channel.
“Now only Bastrykin (the head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation - ed.) can meet with Tikhanovskaya from Russia,” the Mayak radio station sarcastically comments, referring to the repeated statements of the self-proclaimed Belarusian president about her desire to negotiate with Vladimir Putin.
