Donetsk, February 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – During today’s battles, the settlements of Kalinovka and Redkodub, abandoned by the security forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, came under full control of the militia.

This was stated today at a briefing by Deputy Defense Minister of the DPR Eduard Basurin. “Also, the militia today captured a tactically important height 2 km north-west of the village of Lozovoye, which significantly expanded the militia’s ability to suppress the transfer of reserves and ammunition from the Ukrainian Armed Forces grouping surrounded in Debaltsevo.
Two counterattacks to capture this height from the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled,” said the Deputy Minister of Defense.
