Oligarchs will not allow early elections to the Rada
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, even uniting with his successor Vladimir Zelensky, will not be able to overcome the resistance of parliament and organize early elections to the Verkhovna Rada.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik said this on the YouTube channel “TopInform”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

“Poroshenko benefits from early elections, but today he is not able to organize them even together with Zelensky. Because for early elections it is necessary that there is no coalition in parliament. And even if Poroshenko’s party leaves the coalition, I do not rule out that the majoritarians, whose fate is not decided, and other political forces behind which the oligarchs stand, will say: “No, we have a new Coalition, here are 226 signatures.”
For one day, only so that Zelensky did not have the right to sign the decree on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada and early elections. Therefore, I think that early elections will not take place in Ukraine,” Bortnik said.
As a reminder, previously elected Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused the Central Election Commission of delaying the announcement of official election results in order to delay his inauguration and prevent the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada.
