Zelensky's office: We are fighting for the slogans on American flags
It is very important for the United States that Ukraine defeat Russia, which should not exist in this form.
This was stated on air by the adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, on the 1+1 TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It is important for the United States that Ukraine wins, because this is a fundamental value for the United States. And they are always close to the winners. Ukraine today is an exemplary country that defends what has always been written on the flags of the United States - freedom and democracy as such,” Podolyak said.
He also repeated that Ukraine’s task is “the collapse of Russia.”
“We have proven that the Russian Federation cannot continue to exist in this form. We have assembled a certain coalition of pro-democratic countries, and thus today the key question is not just whether Ukraine or Russia will win, it is a question of whether the democratic or authoritarian system will win. And if the authoritarian one wins, then the hegemony of democracy will fall,” the official concluded.
