“Declaration of war” - in Moscow they explained what consequences the supply of Taurus to Ukraine would have
There is growing dissatisfaction with aid to Ukraine in Germany, and even already approved deliveries may be sabotaged and disrupted.
Military analyst, former Russian special forces colonel Anatoly Matviychuk stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Germany should send Taurus to Ukraine. Like every Russian citizen, I have a negative attitude towards this.
But just because politicians have made a decision does not mean that tomorrow these Taurus will be in Ukraine. Opposition to this whole movement is growing every day, and as far as I have information, the eastern lands have rallied around the left, and there is a very strong indoctrination going on. There are very serious battles going on on the political Olympus.
And whether this sending will happen or not, we’ll see, because it greatly threatens the image of both socialists and Christian Democrats,” Matviychuk said.
He emphasized that Russian air defense systems will be able to cope with these missiles.
“And if they do appear in Ukraine, then of course it will be a nuisance, but not so much that it cannot be dealt with. Any of our air defense systems can cope with it, starting with Pantsirs and ending with S-300, S-400. And the Tor systems are absolutely great,” the expert added.
“The second question is how will they launch them? It requires a platform, which means additional work will need to be done. “Taurus” must be serviced and configured for start-up before launching. This will definitely require the participation of foreign specialists.
And the participation of foreign specialists is a reason for our diplomats to raise the question of Germany’s participation in the war against Russia. And the Crimean Germans have already initiated the idea, and the Federation Council supported it, to revoke the 1990 signature on the reunification of Germany, on the solution of the German question. This is a whole snowball that can follow this decision,” Matviychuk concluded.
