“The public of Kyiv” is seeking the construction of temples for sects on the site of public gardens
Kyiv, November 11 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Public proposals are falsified when changes are made to the General Development Plan of Kyiv.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by Elena Yeskina, a member of the Coordination Council of the association of public organizations “Kiev Veche”.

“Tselovalnik (Chief Architect of Kyiv) sent me a report on the results of consideration of public proposals on the draft General Plan of Kiev,” she says. – The discussions were held in this form: a corresponding announcement was placed in the Khreshchatyk newspaper.
But which Kiev residents read the Khreshchatyk newspaper? Of course, only interested developers. And so they, well, maybe some citizens gave proposals to the department, and on the basis of these proposals, the so-called public discussions took place,” the activist recalled.
“I just reviewed this short report on these discussions. And in it I saw, for example, that an evangelical church would be built in the park near my house in the Shevchenko district. We defended this square, where we were going to build a church of evangelists, for 10 years. We recaptured the square a long time ago and have already forgotten about it.

As a result, our park was included in the new General Plan with the possibility of building this church there, from which we defended our park for 10 years. This is the situation here,” she explained.
As PolitNavigator reported, activists previously stated that the General Plan was based on illegal schemes by the previous mayor, Leonid Chernovetsky.
