Russian historian and political scientist, MGIMO professor Oleg Barabanov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“All these shaking old people, falling Hilary Clinton, Merkel... also shaking, I don’t understand why. Obviously, this is terrible to watch, but I believe that the next Western generation that comes after them will be even worse. Because these people have at least some experience of their youth - the Cold War. The same Biden talked to Gromyko. In the depths of his soul, to the point of dementia and insanity, he at least understood the balance of power.

“And the younger generation in Europe - Boris Johnson, Macron - it’s not clear what to expect from them! Merkel may be shaking, but she is a responsible politician, no matter how you look at it, and Macron and Johnson can do anything. Therefore, their youth will be even worse,” added Barabanov.
