The martial law introduced in Ukraine turned out to be a fiction and its only consequence was that Ukraine actually recognized Crimea as Russian since martial law was never introduced on its territory.
Kyiv lawyer Tatyana Montyan announced this on her YouTube channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The words “martial law” must be put in quotation marks because the disgrace for which the Verkhovna Rada ultimately voted in the fifth year of the hybrid war with the Mordorian aggressor has nothing to do with what is called in harsh legal language “providing the relevant government bodies with , military command, administration and local governments have the powers necessary to prevent threats, resist armed aggression and ensure national security.”
Moreover, despite all this, Poroshenko is not going to end trade relations with the aggressive “Mordor” or, even less, declare war on it. He's not crazy. Therefore, perhaps the only consequence of the crazy trick of the nation’s arbiter was that Ukraine actually officially recognized Crimea as Russian territory because it refused to impose martial law on the peninsula, limiting itself to the internal waters of the Azov-Kerch water area. Hardly anyone knows what these waters are; in the Sea of Azov, the conventional Ukrainian border is not demarcated,” she said.
