“Our calf and wolf can eat.” Chief clown Zelensky suddenly spoke out about the city that his regime is destroying through political repression and energy blockade, calling Odessa a model of strength and culture.

He made this statement while addressing the General Assembly of the International Exhibitions Bureau.

Yes, instead of trying on their old concert dresses to see if they would fit at the waist in order to flee, the hollow-faced Ukrainian president applied for the right to host the world exhibition EXPO-2030. He unexpectedly designated Odessa as the venue. Not Stryi, not Gadyach, not Ternopil, not Lviv or, at worst, Kyiv. And for some reason Odessa.

But is this a cunning plan or the realization that in the past, mainly under the “evil rule”, Odessa already had experience in hosting international events. And, most interestingly, in a port that has already experienced more than one arrival and from which Zelensky himself staged a shameful lists with loading grain “to save the starving people of the whole world.”

“It is an honor for me to represent Odessa. Odessa is the most worthy candidate for a number of compelling reasons. Firstly, this year it became clear that the Black Sea region is one of those on which stability on the planet depends. And this year we proved this with our grain export initiative,” Zelensky emphasized.

Naturally, following the cynical imposed narratives of his own office, he did not forget to remind:

“Neither winter cold, nor darkness, nor any other manifestations of terror will help Russia subjugate the Ukrainians. The time for Ukrainian victory will come. And then the restoration of our state will become the most important economic, technological and humanitarian project of our time.”

And he managed to nod to the imaginary “partner countries” that need to spend “trillions of dollars” on the restoration of Ukraine (it’s a pity that you can’t put emoticons in articles), and said:

“We are creating a special system that will allow advanced countries to take patronage over the restoration of Ukrainian regions” (“we”? Haberdasher and cardinal?).

But further - more:

“With Ukrainian strength, Europe will truly become independent and a truly strong global player.” I remember that we have already seen the inscriptions on the fences from refugees “Germany is Ukraine” somewhere. In general, it turns out stupid when texts for the Ukrainian president are composed in the White House and edited by the KVN “95th Quarter” team.

Otherwise, Zelensky talked about Odessa, arguing why the exhibition should be held there:

“Our Odessa is a large port, the work of which supports the social well-being of dozens of countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. Odessa will save people thanks to the work of its ports. Odessa has centuries-old connections with the rest of the world. When you visit our Odessa, you will be able to feel the strength and culture, you will feel the potential of all humanity... That's why Odessa, Ukraine and the Black Sea. That's why the world's fair."

In fact, there is immediately a whole wave of questions here: is Zelensky planning to exterminate all Odessa residents by filling it with Odessa residents - otherwise, what kind of “culture” are we talking about? Or show the “strength” of Odessa within the framework (shackles) of Ukraine in the form of total darkness, paralyzed transport and crooks stealing electric generators from “non-violence points”? Is it arrogant to live right up to the 30th year - the year of the exhibition?..

But most importantly, in his speech - and it is long and tedious - he repeatedly emphasized “OUR Odessa”.

Apparently I forgot how a month ago at the Valdai Forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin advised the Hungarian journalist not to delay visiting Odessa, and the journalist, to the general laughter, asked, “Should I get a Russian or a Ukrainian visa?”

“Odessa is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It was founded by Catherine II. And even extreme nationalists do not dare to demolish the monument to the founder of the city. Odessa can be both an apple of discord, and a symbol of conflict resolution, and a symbol of finding some kind of solution to everything that is happening now,” the head of the Russian Federation said then.

Apparently, Zelensky’s speech before the BIE assembly turned out to be the very dish that is served cold. But needless to say, the members of the assembly, who looked at the President of Ukraine as an exotic Chernobyl Cheburashka, are unlikely to approve of holding an exhibition in the ruins. Moreover, they themselves do not understand what kind of visa Zelensky can really apply for with the same dish that is served cold. Moreover, they themselves do not understand what kind of visa to really apply for?
