Narva scenario: Baltic limitrophes are threatened with being cut off from NATO
Russia is preparing to cut off the Baltic limitrophes from their NATO masters.
Sean Monahan, a visiting fellow in the Center for Strategic and International Studies' (CSIS) program on Europe, Russia, and Eurasia, stated this in an interview with the Center's YouTube channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Our assumption is that the most - the so-called Narva scenario, where Russia foments an uprising of ethnic Russians, delivers a lightning strike on Narva or the capital - Tallinn or Riga (it tried to do this in Ukraine with Kiev, which failed). Then it seizes the 60-kilometer Suwalki corridor, which connects Russian client state Belarus and the enclave in Kaliningrad. This will separate the Baltics from Poland and the rest of NATO,” Monahan said.
He argues that NATO is ready to "fight tonight" but is not ready for a protracted war with Russia.
