“People's Governor” Pavel Gubarev was left in custody until the end of June
Kyiv, May 05 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv extended the detention of the commander of the Donetsk People’s Self-Defense, the “people’s governor” of the Donetsk region Pavel Gubarev until June 28.

“Last Wednesday (April 30), the court extended the arrest of my client until June 28,” said the arrestee’s lawyer, Alexander Goroshinsky.
He noted that at the moment Gubarev, who had previously gone on a hunger strike, feels well and is receiving all the medical care that can be provided in a pre-trial detention center.
As Navigator reported, on March 6, SBU officers detained the commander of the NOD Pavel Gubarev. On March 7, the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv arrested Gubarev for 2 months. On April 28, the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern for the condition of Pavel Gubarev.
