“I hope that after the LDPR the hour of Odessa, Nikolaev, and Kharkov will come”
Today’s decision by Vladimir Putin to begin issuing Russian passports under a simplified procedure to residents of the LDPR should in the future be expanded to other regions of historical Novorossiya.
Priest Andrei Novikov, ex-secretary of the Odessa diocese, who was forced to leave Ukraine due to the threat of persecution in 2014 for supporting the Russian Spring, writes about this in his blog.

“How happy I am for the Russian people of the free part of Novorossiya, who in battles, torment and tears suffered for their natural right to be citizens of Great Russia! Today is a historic day, a very important barrier has been crossed, which for reasons unknown to us was impossible to cross before. What awaits the scattered Russian people in this new stage of existence? I would like to believe that a new stage of its collection and protection is under the shadow of the double-headed Eagle. I hope that the hour of Odessa, Nikolaev, Kharkov will come,” writes Father Andrey.
