A bucket of feces was poured on Ukrainian deputy Sergei Kaplin during today’s trade union rally near the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Elected from the Poroshenko Bloc, Kaplin is competing with Ilya Kiva, who is close to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for the post of head of the Socialist Party. The footage of the attack was released by militants of the ex-leader of the UNA-UNSO Dmitry Korchinsky, with whom Kiva is friends.
Both Kiva and Kaplin are loyal to the nationalist regime. The fake Socialist Party plays the role of a technical project in the elections, as well as to “let off steam” and simulate the presence of legal left forces.
Later, correspondence appeared on the Internet where the performers were offered a fee of $300 for the attack on Kaplin with a promise to avoid prosecution by the security forces.
