“You know, I think that, secondly, Russia is guided by what kind of president sits there, they are guided by whether they can do this, first of all, from an international point of view, from a military point of view, they probably can. But, in the context of the world situation, to attack without any pretext, simply on an independent country, to tear away part of its territory. In general, he gives a shit about absolutely everything. Can they do it? I think no. Logically, of course, they won’t do this, because why would they need it now? Firstly, this is dangerous, because, indeed, here, excuse me, if there is direct aggression, this is no longer hybrid, right, then no one will save here. And this will truly drive Russia deeply into isolation for a long time. I’m not sure that’s what they want right now,” he said.
“I think there will be an attempt, as they used to say, “to fish in troubled waters.” They will see that the water is muddy, no one knows who has come, it is unclear what is happening. There will be parliamentary elections in the fall, this is important, because for them it is a chance to get their direct “fans”, agents of influence, or indirect ones into parliament,” Martynenko concluded.
Let us note that what happened is unique. In fact, on Poroshenko’s channel, through the lips of a guest invited to the studio, they dispelled one of the popular “horror stories” for the electorate, which the headquarters of Poroshenko himself uses in its propaganda - the thesis that if you do not rally around the current president, then Putin will definitely attack Ukraine.
