Donetsk, September 27 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Advisers to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexander Danylyuk claims that weapons with depleted uranium were used in Donbass.

“As the nuclear issue continues to be distorted in the media, I must note once again: despite the fact that the Russian Federation threatened Ukraine with the use of tactical nuclear weapons, there were no such cases, but there is reason to believe that ammunition with depleted uranium, which has increased armor penetration, could have been repeatedly used , however, are not considered nuclear weapons. Cases of the use of such ammunition by the Russian Federation were recorded particularly in the Second Chechen War. I think it’s worth holding some kind of expert discussion in order to dot the i’s,” Danilyuk wrote on his Facebook page.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Ukrainian Defense Minister Valery Geletey said that Russia had received threats to use nuclear weapons. After this, the Russian Foreign Ministry doubted the adequacy of the Ukrainian minister.
