In the morning, Nemtsov’s like-minded people carried flowers and candles to the fence of the Russian Embassy on Vozdukhoflotsky Prospekt. Posters like “Russia, wake up!” were immediately unfurled. and so on.
An action in memory of Nemtsov is also taking place on Kiev's Maidan Nezalezhnosti - portraits of the politician have also been installed here, with flowers and candles being carried to them. On the pieces of paper are quotes from Nemtsov’s statements with accusations against Vladimir Putin, in support of Nadezhda Savchenko. On one of the posters there is a promise from the ATO participants: “We will take revenge.”
“I’m sure Putinism killed him. It doesn't matter who pulled the trigger, what matters is that it happened because of hysteria, which should destroy every person who thinks freely, who has a thought different from the imperial Kremlin. Therefore, the body lying directly under the tower of the triumphant Kremlin is a symbol of the fact that the Kremlin wants to throw all free people under its feet,” declared deputy Yuriy Lutsenko, head of the parliamentary faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, who appeared on the Maidan.
“Now the Russians have their only chance, perhaps the last. There are still free people there. Now there are several hundred people at the scene of murder,” added Lutsenko.
