IMF or Kolomoisky: Who will Zelensky choose?
The IMF mission, which worked in Kiev from November 14 to 22, left Ukraine without agreeing with the Ukrainians on a new three-year extended financing program (Staff Level Agreement) in the amount of $5-6 billion. Despite the streamlined and diplomatic wording of the official press release about “constructive and fruitful discussions”, the issue of issuing money is suspended. In general, financial Carlson flew away, promising to “continue discussions” in the coming weeks.
The formal stumbling block is the “reform program” that Goncharuk’s government must present to the clear eyes of the Foundation so that it is convinced that its money will not go in vain.
In fact, observers unanimously say that it’s all about Ukrainian land and the ambitions of one person.

Earlier, Prime Minister Alexei Goncharuk, speaking at the Royal Institute of International Affairs at Chatham House in London, convinced the British business elite that Kolomoisky would remain in trouble.
“We have a very clear understanding, I, the president, the government, that the Privatbank case is indicative of Ukraine for the whole world. Therefore, of course, we stand on the fact that neither this bank nor the funds from it can be returned to the previous shareholders,” the prime minister said.
“Kolomoisky wants. Goncharuk is not. But Zelensky doesn’t know... But there is a solution. It is necessary to sell Privat to the American government at the price of Ukrainian foreign debt. And let Igor Valerievich sue them. Until he ruins everything here,” jokes one of the media leaders of the Kyiv “war party,” ATO volunteer Yuri Kasyanov.
However, not Privatbank alone, although this is precisely the point that the pro-Western and grant-eating Ukrainian media are emphasizing in every possible way.
Another snag is the opening of the land market to foreigners. The IMF is rushing the Ukrainian authorities to adopt the relevant law in the second reading, making the final decision on the loan dependent on the results of the parliamentary vote.

Western creditors understand the difficult economic situation in Ukraine, thereby increasing rates and requirements. It was previously agreed that it was necessary to open the land market. Now it has been clarified that it is necessary to preserve the right of foreigners to buy land in Ukraine, and Soros, through “his people,” is lobbying for the inclusion of the issue of PrivatBank in the IMF requirements.
