The "Shadow" company will include the best of the best fighters, said the coordinator of the "Kiev-1" battalion, Yevgeny Deid, during the opening of the training base, according to the website of the security agencies.

The fighters set up the training base themselves. 30 of the best fighters will be selected from the battalion to join the Shadow special companies. It will be an assault force and will be used only in emergency situations and cases.

“This company is recruited from guys who were in the ATO—professionals among professionals. There will be very few recruits, only those who show themselves better,” noted the unit coordinator.

As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv they seriously thought about disbanding volunteer units.
