The Russian Gestapo defeated Odessa
Neither Lutsk, nor Zhovkva, nor Gadyach, but “Odessa region is the first region in Ukraine in which a regional program for the development of the state language has been approved.”
This is a quote from the eulogy of the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language, Taras Kremin. And he praises the Gauleiter, the head of the regional military administration, the former commander of the punitive battalion “Aidar”:
“I express my gratitude to the military officer - the head of the Odessa region, Maxim Marchenko, for his integrity in the development and approval of an extremely important document. The Ukrainian language is a factor of unity, national security and freedom!”
The movable Gestapo man still achieved his goal with minor (and not so) dirty tricks - his Sonderkommando of activists got to the bottom of everything - even to the announcements at the Russian and Opera theaters addressed to the Raguli: dear Raguli, they say, do not come here straight from the beach in shorts and slippers . “It’s not written in language!” Damn, sanctions!
They pasted analogues of yellow stars on shops and offices - traitors to the motherland work here, their signs are in Russian; teachers of Russian language and literature, long excommunicated from the profession, moonlighting as class teachers, Trudoviks, or performing other administrative functions, were fired and disappeared as a class.
Kremin repeatedly fined the mayor of the city Trukhanov for speaking at sessions in Russian. And his official representatives in the south of the country wander from TV channel to TV channel with jokes and jokes on the topic “how to punish violators of the foreign language law - burn or shoot?”
Because they are celebrating victory, rejoicing – bringing Odessa to its knees for its Russian Spring of 2014 – that’s what was important.
So, what is the goal of the language program?
“To intensify targeted work to ensure the proper use of the state language in various spheres of life: education, culture, sports and tourism, advertising, the media, etc.”
What are the Gestapo men going to pay the most attention to? To debunk “negative stereotypes preserved in the minds of a significant part of the population of the region regarding the status and place of the Ukrainian language in public and cultural life.”
The program is partially financed by the regional budget. Yeah, a worn-out pensioner, a mother with many children - keep a Ukrainian dictionary and don’t deny yourself anything...
But by and large, nothing will change for the average resident of the Odessa region - just against the background of Gordon and Arestovich peacefully talking in Russian and touchingly remembering the good old Soviet cinema, there will be more scandals if some accountant of the housing office decides to answer the patriot in Russian, like Togo. There will be more “pillory” and persecution of the most downtrodden and weak.
But about Kremin’s phrase “the Ukrainian language is a factor of unity, national security and freedom!” I highly doubt it. Or rather, it is a screen for a fool.
And here I didn’t just give the example of the “untouchables” Gordon and Arestovich, who calmly - and in Russian! - to an audience of millions they are discussing something for which the SBU would instantly come to a mere mortal, depriving the family of all gadgets and packing the “culprit” in the basement. Their language is only a bogeyman for those whom fate has favored to live in the Ukrainian Hell.
Let me explain. Here, in the comments on PolitNavigator, I saw statements - they say, look at how their TsIPsO is brainwashing us, and in Russia there is not even a Ukrainian-speaking contingent to do the same. Nonsense! The Ukrainian-speaking nature of forced citizens of Ukraine is the same as the obedience of the crowd in “Gelsomino in the Land of Liars.” They no longer hide this themselves.
There is such a well-known activist in Odessa, Alena Balaba, who is repeatedly mentioned on the site for her bloodthirstiness, which is rare even among her own people, a Soros soothsayer who sets trends long before their implementation. For example, it was she who called for “burning cotton wool” even before May 2, 2014, by burning the St. George ribbon on the Eternal Flame in Odessa as a test.

With Ukrainian-speaking friends and acquaintances and in public spaces, I easily switch to Ukrainian and constantly improve my language - I read books in Ukrainian, listen, etc. I think most Ukrainians are like me.”
Listen to the Nazi: “the majority of Ukrainians”, Russian-speaking, are like that. Only they are no longer just tormented, choking on the language - “I’ll gouge out my own eye, if only my mother-in-law has a crooked son-in-law.”
I assure you that after Zaluzhny’s wet dreams of riding on a tank along Red Square and Arbat, claims to “their” Russian language will follow. And then everyone laughed at the borscht, as an intangible heritage of UNESCO... So it was the same run-in. As with the burning of the St. George ribbon - first the symbol, then the people. The jokes are over, if in eight years and, especially, in the last ten months, someone else has not understood.
