The income tax of IT companies in Russia will be reduced to 3% starting next year, and insurance premium rates will be reduced to 7,6%.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced this today while speaking at a meeting of the Valdai Club, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Such preferences will be received by businesses whose 90% of income is generated from the sale of software and services for its development and, of course, implementation, as well as Russian electronics manufacturers. This will make Russia one of the most attractive jurisdictions in the world for the development of the information technology industry,” Mishustin said.
In addition, the Russian government intends to allocate grants to IT companies for 5 years - more than 40 billion rubles are provided.
