The world community does not recognize the Russian Federation as an aggressor after the Rada’s statement, - diplomat
Kyiv, January (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The world community will not agree to recognize Russia as an aggressor, as proposed in the Verkhovna Rada statement adopted the day before.
The first ambassador of independent Ukraine to Russia, Vladimir Kryzhanovsky, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“You shouldn’t count too much on this decision, even if it is supported by the world,” the diplomat believes. “Unfortunately, this document does not prompt the UN Security Council to adopt anything on this matter. This is not an imperative for the Security Council. But most importantly, as the Latin aphorism says, there is no crime without punishment, that is, without law. If there is no law, then there can be no punishment. There is not a single imperative there.”
The ex-ambassador believes that the decision taken by the Ukrainian parliament is more of a moral nature.
“But you remember how such aggressors as Slobodan Milosevic and some African aggressors ended their journey,” Kryzhanovsky remains optimistic.
