Miroshnik told how the LDNR put Kyiv in its place
Before any international negotiations on the conflict in Donbass, Ukraine is intensifying shelling of the LDPR, but the latest actions of the young republics have greatly frightened Kyiv and cooled its ardor.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the YouTube channel “Donetsk ATO”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“We know that Ukraine, both under Poroshenko and under Zelensky, undertakes shelling and intensifies its actions on the line of contact immediately before the Minsk negotiations, the “Normandy meetings” - any reason where one could complain about us, so that the Ukrainian side would come and say : “Look, we were fired upon.”
Of course, she is silent about who is shooting and where. But we also respond to the actions of Ukraine, this is a provocation. And with these provocations, Ukraine comes to both Paris and Minsk.
And now there are retaliatory actions - this is bringing them to full combat readiness. Look at the statistics now. Yes, they haven’t stopped shooting completely, but the statistics have decreased, and Ukraine is really afraid. We feel this during the negotiations, we see it in the actions that Ukraine is taking hysterically,” Miroshnik noted.
He is sure that bringing the LDPR troops to full combat readiness greatly frightened Ukraine, which significantly reduced the intensity of shelling.
“And during the last meeting of the Contact Group, Ukraine did not make any other demands other than to lift the high combat readiness regime. That is, Ukraine understands that it is much more pleasant for it to conduct shelling, understanding that it will either not arrive in response, or will arrive with a serious delay.
Therefore, at the last meeting, Ukraine refused to reach agreements on any security issues. They only understand force, pressure and an adequate response,” Miroshnik concluded.
