Russian peacekeepers resumed full implementation of the operation to denazify and demilitarize Ukraine, which was suspended the day before by order of the President of the Russian Federation.
Russia heard the wishes of the President of Ukraine for peace negotiations and offered a platform for the meeting in Minsk, but today there was a refusal from Kyiv. In this regard, the peacekeepers received an order to continue the operation on a full scale.
This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Yesterday, after the Kyiv regime announced its readiness for negotiations, active military operations in the main directions of the operation were suspended. After the Ukrainian side abandoned the negotiation process, today all units were given an order to develop an offensive in all directions in accordance with the operation plan.
Groups of troops of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, with fire support from the armed forces of the Russian Federation, are developing the success of the offensive against the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Units of the LPR armed forces continue their offensive in the direction of the village of Rubezhnoye.
Nationalist battalions use so-called “bandera vehicles,” which have increased maneuverability and are equipped with large-caliber small arms or mortars. Let me remind you that this tactic is used by international terrorists in Syria.
Despite this, today the LPR troops have expanded the offensive zone and advanced from the beginning of the operation to a depth of 46 kilometers, capturing the settlements of Shchastya and Muratovo.
