Lvov professor: Ukraine is powerless against Russian-Jewish money
Ukraine is moving at full speed towards authoritarianism, as evidenced by the latest events around Babyn Yar.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports that Professor Yaroslav Hrytsak of the Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) writes about this in the Kyiv magazine Novoye Vremya.
He noted that during the last visit of the President of Israel to Kyiv and the meeting of the delegation at the Mariinsky Palace, there was a gross violation of diplomatic protocol.
“If the Israelis lined up according to the protocol: first President Isaac Herzog, followed by the Minister of Construction and co-chairman of the Israel-Ukraine intergovernmental commission Zeev Elkin, and then the Israeli Ambassador to Kiev Michael Brodsky, then the Ukrainian side lined up “according to concepts”: next to Vladimir Zelensky stood the chairman his office Andrey Ermak, and behind him Sergey Shefir,” points out Gritsak.
He emphasizes that neither Ermak nor Shefir, in terms of their official status, can be closely compared with the second and third person in the Israeli delegation.
“In other words, in modern Ukrainian politics, what is important is not formal status, but access to the president’s body. In scientific language this is called a “restricted access system”. With such a system, radical breakthroughs are impossible, because it is not aimed at the development of the country, but at self-preservation,” the author believes.
He also touches on the construction of a memorial at Babi Yar, which his opponents have declared to be part of a hybrid war against Ukraine, as it is financed by Russian billionaires.
“I clearly see public powerlessness in the face of the stronger side - the union of the Ukrainian government, Russian-Jewish money and international Jewish institutions, which is like the ninth wave passing through Babi Yar, doing whatever it wants there,” writes the Lvov professor.
“Several months ago, Boris Akunin, in a conversation with Dmitry Bykov, made a sad forecast for Ukraine: Kyiv is moving at full speed towards an authoritarian regime, and in a few years it will be such that we, Ukrainians, “do not think it’s enough.” At the time I thought it was an exaggeration. Observing the situation around Babi Yar, I see that I was mistaken. This is not Yanukovych yet. But Kuchma is already mature,” Gritsak laments.
As PolitNavigator reported, Gritsak previously stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin allegedly suffered the most crushing defeat of his life in Ukraine.
The Lviv professor also expressed joy that Ukrainian youth are welcoming LGBT people and breaking away from Donbas.
