Kuleba accused the United States of indecisiveness towards the Russian Federation
Washington is in no hurry to grant Russia the status of a “state sponsor of terrorism,” understanding all the possible consequences in relations between nuclear powers.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba stated this in an interview with Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon, notorious for PR charlatans and anti-Russian propaganda, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The longer the war, the greater the likelihood [of Russia being recognized as a “terrorist state”]. There is a “terrorist state” status all over the world, and this is a political stigma.
But in one country, the status of a “state sponsor of terrorism” has specific legal consequences. This is the USA. We see how different countries are starting to make decisions, talking about Russia as a terrorist, but these are political assessments,” the minister said.
“Yesterday I sent the president a message with the results of my work, and he wrote to me: “It’s better to let the United States recognize Russia as a terrorist state.” I say: “That’s right!” He personally monitors this issue and has identified it as a priority, but the Americans have not yet decided to do so, because for their country this will have very serious consequences for relations with Russia.
But we are working to make this happen. Russia helps a lot. It’s a pity that at the cost of our lives and the destruction of our country, but they tirelessly contribute to the piggy bank,” Kuleba boasted.
