This was stated by the representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group at the Minsk negotiations, the second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, on Friday Kuchma told reporters that today the situation around Ukraine is unstable.

“Everything could collapse at any moment, including taking into account the situation that exists in Europe today,” he noted.

The former president indicated that the positions of European countries on the Ukrainian issue are not strong.

“Future elections in both France and Germany could have a very serious impact, even leading to the collapse of the Normandy format.” And such voices are already heard,” he concluded.
