The "Crimean Platform" organized by Kiev , which never once mentioned the problems and needs of ordinary Crimeans, demonstrated to the entire world that Ukraine is indifferent to the residents of the peninsula.
Maria Gridchina, representing the public organization Ukrainian Community of Crimea, stated this at a meeting of the 48th session of the Human Rights Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Under the pretext of so-called Russian aggression, Ukraine is closing TV channels. Without a court decision, the rights of linguistic minorities are grossly violated. The so-called “Crimean Platform” forum proved this.
The Crimea Platform demonstrated that international institutions for the protection of human rights are becoming useless. They stated that they wanted to protect the rights of the residents of Crimea, but no one at the forum spoke about the problems of the Crimeans.

The representative of the International Council of Russian Compatriots also proposed in the final document of the 48th session of the Human Rights Council to consolidate the call of Crimeans to the UN to visit the peninsula on an official visit.
