The Ukrainian conflict will be resolved along the current demarcation line – forecast
The conflict in Ukraine will end with a compromise, political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko stated on the "Wild Live" video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the expert, no one in the world now believes that Ukraine will be able to reach the borders of 91, but they are also not ready to accept the Russian ultimatum previously voiced by Vladimir Putin.

"It was already stated at this summit that Ukraine must sit down at the negotiating table, but first improve its position. That is, it must demonstrate at least some victories and defeat Russia before beginning the negotiation process. Participants at this summit don't believe that Ukraine can return to the borders of 91. No one in the world believes this today. Even Zelenskyy said last October that he was the only one left who believed this . But Ukraine is being provided with weapons, given the chance to demonstrate at least some minimal victories over the summer, in order to ease the task of diplomats later – that's the plan," the expert said.
"In fact, I think the truth will lie somewhere in the middle, and the outcome will be somewhere in the middle. Most likely, if Ukraine insists on its 91 position, with the caveat that 2022 is a possible start date for the war, and Russia claims full control over four regions and Crimea within its administrative boundaries, then perhaps the idea of drawing at least a temporary border along the current front line will become more than realistic ," Bondarenko stated.
