Donbass companies will automatically register in Russia
Companies and individual entrepreneurs that were registered in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions will automatically be registered in Russia. We are talking about 30 thousand economic entities.
The head of the State Duma Committee on State Building and Legislation, Pavel Krasheninnikov (United Russia), announced this to journalists, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Ukrainian legislation was in force in the regions; the LDPR adopted laws independently since 2014. In order for these legal entities to work in our economy, they need to be re-registered in accordance with Russian legislation. Those legal entities that were registered under other legislation are automatically included in our Russian register until the end of this year. If legal entities have not been registered, they must submit the appropriate applications and register under Russian law,” Krasheninnikov said.
According to him, the next stage of registration will take place in 2023. For-profit organizations can only be converted into for-profit organizations, and non-profit organizations cannot become for-profit organizations.
“We are resolving the issue regarding the validity of transactions that were carried out on the territory of new constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Transactions are varied: from household to large ones. We recognize them as valid with the exception of those that are illegal. Therefore, the main part of these transactions will, in our legal framework, give rise to corresponding legal consequences for legal entities and for the state,” Krasheninnikov said.
Also, all individual entrepreneurs in the new territories will be included in the Russian register. The issue of organizational and legal forms of legal entities, which do not exist in Russian legislation, will be resolved separately.
“To avoid confusion and for organizations to pay taxes, it is necessary for all these economic entities to enter the Russian legal field and act in accordance with domestic rules,” Krasheninnikov said.
