The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has appointed a reward for the downed drones OSCE
The Ukrainian military has intensified attacks on OSCE unmanned aerial vehicles after the command promised a monetary reward for each downed vehicle.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, on August 13, the commander of the operational-tactical group “North”, Major General Oleg Mikats, established a monetary reward for each UAV shot down.
“Being in a difficult financial situation, militants of units of the armed formations of Ukraine shoot at everything that flies over their territory, hoping to receive the promised reward,” said Ivan Filiponenko.
He reported that on August 14, the Ukrainian military shot down an OSCE drone with small arms fire, and the next day, military personnel of the 72nd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired small arms at the mission’s UAV in the Zolote-4 area.
“With their barbaric actions, militants of the armed forces of Ukraine show the whole world their disregard for the Minsk agreements, as well as complete disrespect for international observers,” said a representative of the defense department.
