“The number of losses is crazy” – deputy brigade commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The human losses in the conflict in Ukraine are simply off the charts.
Deputy commander of the 115th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Alexander Vasilenko, announced this on air at TSN, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Vasilenko, no one imagined that this was possible, considering that the losses during the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq were too great.
“We remember the participation of the Ukrainian contingent in military events in Iraq, when we sent our military contingents there. At that time, we counted when the guys came from Iraq, we thought how much they saw this war.
We haven’t seen war in Ukraine, we haven’t seen it for a long time, from Afghanistan we heard that there was a war in Afghanistan, 13, as the song sang, losses. And we thought, what a bloody war this is, God. No one even hoped for what would happen next,” the military man said.
“I think any person who can evaluate information in general understands that this number of losses is simply insane. For the 21st century, the century of modern technology, the discovery of cosmic stars, artificial intelligence, and we are simply faced with the fact that someone wanted to destroy their own kind,” Vasilenko said.
Let us recall that in just a few months of the failed “counter-offensive” Ukraine lost tens of thousands of soldiers killed. In general, according to various sources, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the Northern Military District amount to about 500 thousand.
